Verified, certified, partial, claimed: what the badges mean

Every skill, project, and credential on Rankix carries one of four verification states. Here's what each one means for your score.

Claimed is the starting point - you typed something into your profile and nothing has confirmed it yet. It still counts toward your score, just at a lower weight than verified evidence.

Partial means some but not all of a claim has been confirmed - for example, a project you linked but haven't connected to a verifiable repository or outcome metric.

Certified applies to credentials - a certification whose certificate a Rankix reviewer has checked. Rankix doesn't yet connect to issuers directly, so this is a reviewed document, not a lookup in the issuer's records.

Verified is the strongest state: independent evidence directly confirms the claim. Moving claims from claimed to verified is the single fastest way to increase your credibility component, and it compounds - verified signals also lift the skills, projects, and certifications components they belong to.
